Service Description

A one day session created for those special spouses/partners who not only support their frontline professional, but are also the hearth at the Homefront. Come rest, recoup and have some great fun with the horses here at Forbes Stables. Included in this workshop; Meet and Greet the herd: An introduction to horse behavior and communication. The pasture is a mix of fields, forests, brooks and pond. Guided breathing meditation that brings harmony and awareness. Equine Assisted learning: Interactive obstacles bring awareness and insight to our communication styles and how we show up in a team. These are meant to be very fun and encourage a passion for lifelong learning. Intro into basic horsemanship: Transferring knowledge and techniques from the previous activities, participants can learn the "ground up" approach of western riding. The focus is on relaxation and release of tension, so that the participant can learn to move with their horse as well as bringing awareness with their breath. The goal is to just release and enjoy the movement.
